Busn 210, Introduction Letter

 

Dear Team,

 

Welcome to the Busn 210 Statistics and Excel 2007 class!

 

Our online class will be run in the new Angel course management system, not Blackboard.

 

Here is what you should do to get started:

 

1.       Make sure you have access to a computer on a daily basis that has Excel 2007. This is required for this class. Earlier versions of Excel will not work for this class. If you do not have access to a computer on a daily basis that has Excel 2007, you can:

a.       Buy Excel 2007 in the college bookstore at a reduced rate

b.      Use Highline Community College Computer labs in buildings 29 and 30. Click here for hours:

c.       Drop the class

2.       After you receive your letter from Highline Community College Instructional Computing about your new myHCC login, follow the instructions about how to get your Student Activation Code.

Lastly, this is a short summer class so the minimum that you will work each week on this class is 20 – 30 hours. If you cannot commit to this minimum, you should consider dropping the class.
