Subject: Busn 135, Excel Absolute Cell References
Dear Michael Girvin,
After I watched the VBlog video and did the homework, I am still
confused about the difference between relative cell references and absolute
cell references. For example, when I did the first homework problem in our
Excel workbook named “Busn135ch01and02.xls” on the sheet tab named “Homework
(3)”, when I copied the formula down, the cell reference H1 was not absolute.
The formula I typed in was = F3*H1. After I type it in and copied it down 11
rows the formula looked like this: =F13*H11.
How can I lock the cell reference H1 so that when I copy it down it
remains H1.
Sincerely, Suix Radcoolinator
5) Letter must have a closing
i. Examples:
1. Sincerely, Michael Girvin
2. Regards, Michael Girvin
